Guided Meditation – Self Respect

Self Respect – your body is your temple, so respect it and worship within. I have found in my practice that the more I learn about myself, the more respect I show my body, mind and soul. Since I started my dedicated meditation practice I have quit smoking, stopped drinking alcohol, quit coffee and black teas, switched to a mostly vegetarian diet, reduced my sugar intake and taken up long distance running. Had I told myself that 6 years ago, I would have thought “gosh, that sounds boring!”. However, it happened quite naturally as I started following my intuition and listening to my body. When you have that mutual self respect, you cannot but move to change your habits.
