Discernment

Feel what is right for you

Some people think they have discernment when they are actually just suspicious. Suspicion comes out of the unrenewed mind; discernment comes out of the renewed spirit.” – Joyce Meyer, Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your Mind

Discernment is defined as “the ability to judge well”. In the context of guidance and intuition that means knowing that the information is for you and for your highest good.

When we are at a low frequency, it can be challenging to determine what is coming from a benevolent place, and what is coming from a shadowy aspect. What is front of us is not always what it seems. The challenge is to know the difference when most of us are struggling to tune in to our intuition and guidance to begin with.

The first step is to tune into yourself, what frequency do you hold? If your frequency is low, i.e. anger, shame, guilt, greed, etc., you are bound to attract more shadowy aspects making it challenging to sort out the “good” stuff. Even if you are vibrating at a high frequency, i.e. love, acceptance, enlightenment, etc., there will be shadow aspects still that try to come through, but to a lesser extent. Exercising discerment is crucial in either case, but being of high vibration it is easier to discern what is meant for you.

Working with your intuition and guidance to make the messaging come through clearer will allow you receive the information stronger allowing you go feel into it more.

Discernment of what is meant for you is a inner knowing that cannot be described, it can only be experienced. As you build your relationship with your intuition and guidance you will innately know what is meant for you and what is for your highest good. You are likely to act on “bad” information at times, but it might be necessary for you to be able to tell the difference. When you receive guidance and intuitive hits, ask yourself “is this meant for me and is it my highest good?” and then tune into how it feels as you get the answer.

The more you trust and act on your guidance and intuition, the stronger it will become and the sharper your discernment will be as well.
