Self Respect - your body is your temple, so respect it and worship within. I have found in my practice that the more I learn about myself, the more respect I show my body, mind and soul. Since I started my dedicated meditation practice I have quit smoking, stopped drinking alcohol, quit coffee and black teas, switched to a mostly vegetarian diet, reduced my sugar intake and taken up long distance running. Had I told myself that 6 years ago, I would have thought "gosh, that sounds boring!". However, it happened quite naturally as I started following my intuition and listening to my body. When you have that mutual self respect, you cannot but move to change your habits.
You should find yourself coming out of this mediation feeling relaxed and renewed.
